The Wirtschaftspolitisches Seminar Alpenrhein is a recurring economic-policy seminar jointly hosted by the Zentrum für wirtschaftspolitische Forschung (ZWF) at FH Graubünden, the Liechtenstein-Institut, and the University of Liechtenstein. Each session brings an external academic speaker to discuss a current economic-policy question, followed by a panel-style discussion with regional policymakers and practitioners. Past topics include the economic consequences of fiscal rules, monetary-policy transmission, financial stability, and the macroeconomic effects of structural reform.

The Finance Research Seminar (FRS) is the regular research seminar of the Department of Finance & Economics at the Liechtenstein Business School. It hosts a balanced mix of department members and external speakers from leading research institutions across Europe and beyond. The seminar serves as a focal point for academic exchange in finance and economics in the Alpenrhein region and is open to academic staff, doctoral and master’s students, and interested practitioners.
