**The Future of Investing** — AI conference with PLEXUS Investments, 29 September in Vaduz
On Tuesday, 29 September 2026, 13:30–18:00, the University of Liechtenstein hosts “The Future of Investing: How Artificial Intelligence Is Transforming the Economy, Businesses and Investment Decisions” — the third edition of the AI in Financial Practice conference I co-organise with PLEXUS Investments, after the 2023 and 2024 editions.
The afternoon also marks the fifth PLEXUS Advancement Award for Artificial Intelligence, endowed with EUR 10,000. This year it goes to two recipients:
- Milena Vuletic (Christ Church, University of Oxford), for her dissertation Multi-asset financial markets: mathematical modelling and data-driven approaches
- Andreas Pischetsrieder, for his master’s thesis Optimizing S&P 500-Tilted Portfolios with Direct Weight Prediction Neural Networks: Information Ratio Performance under Realistic Constraints and Network Depth — written here at the University of Liechtenstein under my supervision, and awarded best Master in Finance thesis of 2025
The jury was Prof. Walter Farkas (University of Zurich), Prof. Stefan Mittnik (formerly LMU Munich) and Christof Kutscher (Lancry Natural Capital).
The practitioner conference is the counterpart to the academic Liechtenstein Workshop on AI in Finance, whose first edition ran in May.
