Inaugural **[Liechtenstein Workshop on AI in Finance](/events/20260506_liechtenstein_workshop_ai/)** — a success!
The inaugural Liechtenstein Workshop on AI in Finance (LW-AIF) took place on 6–7 May 2026 at the H6 Campus, University of Liechtenstein. Founded and convened by Sebastian Stöckl, the workshop brought together international researchers working at the frontier of machine learning and finance.
From an open Call for Papers, 13 papers were selected for presentation across five sessions — covering ML and the cross-section of returns, large language models in financial analysis, AI in practice, and NLP applications in corporate disclosure and credit. Each paper received a 45-minute slot with a dedicated discussant.
